Print to file with PDFWriter

Hi,

i wrote an app, that should create a pdf file with a given name, when printing the current view. I tried it with Adobes pdfwriter setting the devnames member "wOutputOffset" to the filename. But pdfwriter always opens the dialog asking for the filename. Tests with a postscript printer driver work fine, but they create postscript, :-)
Can anybody help?

Independent libraries generating pdf are
ClibPDF or pdflib.
