Luby Transform Codes or Tornado codes or On-Line codes
Hi there,
m working on creating a file transfer application for high latency networks (such as WAN) using Luby Transform codes(these are erasure codes). can anyone out there help me understand the algo. and can anyone please provide me with some kind of code for implementing these Luby Transform codes. I have searched the web for all this stuff but i couldnt find it can you please suggest me some hyperlink or some code extract on this stuff

I think, Digital Fountain has a patent on all this. You could probably look up what they write in their patent.
But I think, you will run into a legal problem anyway ... :-(

First m not developing it for commercial purposes m just submitting it as a project.
Second can you give me some help regarding any other FEC(forward error correction) codes such as tornado codes or Online codes. They are not patented by anyone.
Please if u know anything about these codes or from where i can get some help( some code extract or some good algo)inform me.
