VMware or Hyper-V
We are in the planning phase of implementing VDI and I have been tasked with proposing either VMWare or Hyper-V. I was hoping to get some feedback from someone.
Just a few questions:
1. Are you running either?
2. How was the implementation process?
3. How is the support for the vendor?
4. Do you recommend either one?
Any additional feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hyper-V is FREE. VMWare can cost about $10K. Not a tough choice by me...

There is a license we would need for terminal services I think. Are you using Hyper-V VDI VDI without this license? My apologies for the minimal knowledge on this, I am still working on getting our research questionnaire submitted and replied to by the most qualified person at Microsoft.
Thank you for the feedback dglienna, it is greatly appreciated.
