Question How to sort emails by read/unread in Outlook 2007?

I am using MS Office Outlook 2007, when i try to sort the mails by read/unread, I get the message "you cannot sort by this field.", does anyone know how to resolve that.

    Best Regards,

Try customizing your sort fields and remove the read and unread categories. Close Outlook, and then reopen it. Now, re-add those categories and try sorting.

Thanks for reply, I have got an excellent work around for that and it is
"In the folder list scroll down towards the bottom of the list and you'll see a folder called Search Folders. Expand it and go in to the Unread Messages folder. It'll show you unread messages in your account grouped by mail folders. You can expand/collapse each folder to make it easier to view."
