I would like to know how to retrieve a computer's active IP Subnet Mask. I know this can probably be read directly from the registry, but would rather an API call if one exists.

As a bit of added complexity, if it is possible I would also like to do this for a remote machine. This is not so important, but if there is a solution, would be great
