Seeking advice on 3rd party controls for audio
I'm interested in doing some audio file management programming. I'd like to read and write .wav, .mp3, and other audio files. I'd like to be able to do some manipulation on the sound, like convert double-speed to single-speed, change compression, scan for quiet sections, etc. Can anybody recommend controls? Buyware, shareware, freeware, whateverware.

Try MP3Sound.ocx. You can download this at
http://www.The-Clock.de
It's very good.
Or
http://sahertian.com where you can download MP3ocx.
