Can anyone think of a reason why the ReadProperties event of a UserControl would not fire when the ActiveX control enters run mode and is hosted on an HTML page under IIS?

The event fires as expected when the control is hosted on a VB form.

I was under the impression that the ReadProperties event of a UserControl ALWAYS fires when the control changes modes.
