I would like suggestions for displaying forms contained within an ActiveX Dll in a 'Container' app.

The goal is to turn my 'Container' in to a 'plugin host' for the components. As users get various components, they become 'integrated' with the 'Container'. Please excuse the excessive use of single quotes...

I have an application that I am working on which uses multiple ActiveX Dll components. I want to add more components, but I do not want to have to keep building and releasing the 'Container' app.

Currently, I accomplish this with no small amount of chicanery. I am using a variety of API calls to 'convert' the component forms to MDI child forms. It works, for the most part.


If you have any suggestions or have battled this beast before, please, let me know.
