    How can you find the windows fonts directory(usually c:\windows\fonts)?

    You can query the registry:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\EXPLORER\SHELL FOLDERS\FONTS
