Hi all,

I don't have a programming question, more like a research question. I've been looking for a scanner that would be used simply to scan IDs such as a drivers license, with a small desk 'footprint'.

I only seem to be able to find one, but my experience with computer products mandates that there are more out there... I just can't seem to find them.

Have any of you had experience programming for such hardware, any history with a particular vendor/brand that you liked?

Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated, Thanks!
