    Office automation

    Hi, is there any documentation about how too open a file from word (i don't wanna run the application) only open the file and convert it into a html file

    If you refernece the word library through Project>>References>>then check the Microsoft Word 8.0 Object Library, then you can use the SaveAs method of the Document Object to save it with the Name and Type(and many more options) which you could then change to any format you wish:

    ex.
    ActiveDocument.SaveAs FileName:="Text.rtf", FileFormat:=wdFormatRTF
