i wanted to know abt the various date functions avavialble in vb and as to how to convert a numeric value in a text field intoa a date.alos i wnated to peeforma certain calcualtions on date's

There are several dat function available, like DateAdd, which allows us to add/subtract values to a date.
We also have DateDiff, which gives the difference between two dates
To retrieve data, there is DatePart, which can give any part of a date.
