I am trying to develop a system in which email is automatically sent to an X400 recipient. The normal Outlook automation has not been successful so I then tried using MAPI & CDO but as I have only Outlook 97 (CDO V1.1) I have run into problems.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for a way in which I can automate the sending of X400 email from within an application (maybe even a VBA application).

As a standard, we use Win95 and Office 97. The mail server is Exchange2000.
