Viewing Excel Sheets
Hey Everyone,
I'm having a problem with something that should be relatively easy to figure out. What I want to do is open an already existing xls file, get one of the sheets from the file's workbook and display it on my VB application's form. Then I want to convert the data obtained from the sheet into an Excel Chart. Sounds like it should be easy, but I can't figure out how to make it happen.
I have added the Excel Worksheet and Chart Controls to my app and drawn them on two separate forms. But I have noticed that there are almost no properties or methods for the controls.
MSDN has a lot of information on how to create an Excel App, Workbook, and Worksheet, but I can't find any mention of how to operate the Excel Worksheet or Chart controls so that data from an existing xls file can be imported to them.
Anyone know what it is that I am missing?
Bryce
Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes!
