W2K socket disconnect when cable is removed
I am using socket connections to communicate between my programs. It worked fine in NT4.0. Now I am running the same programs in Win2K. The programs work fine until the network cable is disconnected. I can solve the local connection problem using the "127.0.0.1" and not the "PC-name" when connecting programs.
Is there a way to avoid remote connections to vanish int the blue sky when the cable is removed?
