Hi all. I want to use Shell_NotifyIcon to make a taskbar icon for my application. I’m able to do so with no problem, but I’d like to be able to use the Windows 2000 balloon style tooltip features, but have had no success.
In searching the web I’ve only found references to the additional Windows 2000 features, and the related declares, but I haven’t seen any VB code which actually creates a Windows 2000 style tooltip with Shell_NotifyIcon and NOTIFYICONDATA. Would someone have some code, or a link to some code, that they could post which shows how to do this?
By the way, I’m running Windows 2000 SP1 with IE 5.00.3, though I know I need to update for security’s sake.
