Saving files with protected Excel VBA code

Hi,
Locking an Excel VBA project prevents a macro from performing the Save As method when using a text type file. Interestingly, it will allow the Save As method when using a workbook type file. How do you save a spreadsheet as a text file using its own protected macro?
