    Adodc field types

    Hi folks
    does anyone know how to return the field type from an Adodc recordset? as in, is it text, numeric, date, etc.?

    in ADO the recordset has a Fields collection.
    Each Field object has a Type property.
    Query that for each field to get the type of the field.
