A basic question
Hello,
What is the advantage (or disadvantage) of keeping the filename same as the class name? why is it a binding on the programmer?

Re: A basic question
Hi Mr. Graduate Student :-) ,
In Java, all your code must be inside a class. By convention(!), the name of that class should match the name of the file that holds the program. At this point, the convention that filenames correspond to class names may seem arbitrary. However this convention makes it easier to maintain and organize your programs.
If this is the answer you were looking for, don't hesitate to rate this post :--) (Guess that's the least you can do for such a great answer :---) Thanx....
