    control/disable the closing of the parent browser

    hello J-Gurus,

    Is it possible to control/disable the closing of the parent browser
    frame from within the applet that is running inside that browser frame?

    Regretfully you can't. Even worse, your applet will just stop and you can't do any cleanup or anything.
