I mentioned Christmas lists in my editorial on December 13th in the Codeguru newsletter. If you had thoughts or comments this is the thread to place them!

What exactly are this Christmas lists? Can you elaborate a little? Or will I understand more after reading this newsletter?

I am not receiving CG newsletter to my mailbox. Where can I read it now? I cannot see any link to it on main page, but maybe I am missing something.

Newsletter is now posted to: http://www.codeguru.com/announcement...e.php/3570661/
You can also sign up on the front page of Codeguru (on upper right) for the newsletter if you are not getting it. This week's editorial was very non-technical

OK, now I see what you mean by your Christmas list. I'm wondering why people in this filed always have hi-tech devices on their Christmas list.
I have a 19" TFT monitor on my list, but I'm not sure yet what model. Imagine I'm still working with a 15" monitor. I really need more space on my screen.
Also, a copy of VS2005 is on my Christmas list, but it's possible this will have to wait until January.

Ipod is definitely on the on my list, though its not necessarily this xmas but next year want-list . Next would be a digital camera by either nikon, canon or olympus, but it should definitely have a powerful focus/zoom oh and the only recurring item on my list is Hometheater
