Urgent: debugging contest
Hi guys...I need urgent help from you people.
Recently I cleared round 1 of microsoft competition. Tom. is my 2nd round. In that we need to find bugs in the operating system
For Instance,
Microsoft excel compatibility with Windows Starter 2007 or voice conference, chatting problem in yahoo messenger with WinXp etc.
I have never done stuff like this. Can anyone suggest me how to prepare for this(finding bugs) in a short time.
Or incase anyone is very generous to share recent problems(bugs, compatibility etc.) they are facing with microsoft OS
I hope my problem is clear to you all, if not just let me know.
PS: I am having high hopes from you guys. This is only place I could think of getting early/genuine help.
Thank You

Re: Urgent: debugging contest
A Quick tip from my wife.. To find bugs.. Act like you dont know what everything does.. Dont follow the Known ways of using a program.. IE. with Excel.. Try to create a VBA project with out a open spreadsheet..
As developers we often understand the order of doing things in a application.. Try to forget all this (Only while bug testing).. Try the most unusual combination of things..
When are you due to do Round 2..
Good luck and all our hopes and good wills are with you...
Gremmy...
