to fill this column last modified user info in the database.
I have a pc of code that has been suggested to use.
but unsure what that pc of code does and how would i use it to write to the database. Just fYI, i am writing to other fields in the database. Just this field last modified i do not have a clue. Please provide me with any samples. thanks/Saru
oops! i almost forgot to include this below:
What is the best way to use this code and fill last modified column in the db field.
LCase(Replace(Request.ServerVariables("AUTH_USER"), "WLT\", ""))

That piece of code just returns a string..
If the server variable AUTH_USER has a value, it will return the lower case version of it.. If "WLT\" is part of the variable, it will remove it from the string.
Failing to see how this code can access a database.
