Hey,

I have a site which contains a search feature I wrote in asp.net. I use url parameters to pass the search string to the search page..anyway.

I have awstats for my general statistics, and it shows me how many people go to the search page, but it doesnt show me what they are searching for.

So i am wondering the best way to go about this.

I though I could just create another table in my database and record the search results to it. Is this a common approach? And if i did this would it slow down the searching?

If anyone has had experience i would be good to get some knowledge on the best and simplest way to go about it.
