Re: base64
I'm somewhat confused here...
* What characters are used in the Base64 character set? This is vital if you want to dispaly your conversion.
* Are you using a numeric string, or a string with any 'ol thing in it? (like, for instance, would you want to convert "Hello" to base64? Cause, I don't think it can be done.
* What do you need base64 for? This isn't important. I just can't think of any possible use for it.
* Convert a binary file? I don't understand what you want. Cause no matter what, files are still binary data.
Just a confused fellow programmer,

Re: base64
http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=109. This is a .dll to send e-mail with attachments. Look at the functions within the code that convert the attached file to Base64.

Re: base64
One thing that I want to be able to do is to place binary data into a XML document. Like on the server create a xml document with say a gif file in it, send it to a client and pull out the gif. What I don't understand how to do is decode on the client side since I cannot find a way to implement Base64 with script language. Any suggtions?
