FileSystemObject?
Hi there,
All the documentation I see about the FileSystemObject shows it being invoked in a late-bound fashion:
Set fs = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
Does anyone know what reference to include in your VB project to get an early binding, so you can Dim fs as FileSystemObject?
Speaking of which, does anyone know how to tell what's included in various references without adding it to your project and checking the Object Browser? That's the only way I know of, which is of course tedious to say the least. I hope they improve this in VB 7.
Thanks much,
Mike

Re: FileSystemObject?
You can set a reference to 'Microsoft Scripting Runtime' (file is scrrun.dll in your system directory) - this allows you full access to all the objects (FileSystemObject, TextStream etc)
