    Unhappy [2005] StartPosition for CommonDialogs?

Does anyone have sample code on how to set the StartPosition for the CommonDialogs? In particular, I'm looking to create another class that inherits from ColorDialog and add the StartPosition functionality. I have seen a rather complicated way done in C# for the OpenFileDialog. Has no one done this for VB.Net yet?

    Re: [2005] StartPosition for CommonDialogs?

In vb6 I just created a small form that served as my CDC controller. I'd just create an instance of it, put the right CDC on it, inputs the data, and destroys the form, passing the data back.

You can load it and then move it before showing it

This article will give you a great background on the logic used. In this example, the author specifically uses the OpenFileDialog. Although this is in C#, it will still be helpful - prhaps give you more light on the matter.

    I hope it helps!
