I'll quote my brother...
reading about MJ's life and death, that everything in life comes with a price. Nobody gets it all.

I actually disagree
Farah Fawcett was a great actress, and still the prettiest Charlie's Angel

Did you miss out on the story?
Remember THRILLER, or MTV?
MTV was just being born, and featured music videos on cable tv. there were country, rock, and pop videos on MTV, and then THRILLER came out. It was produced by CBS Records.
MTV refused to play the video on their channel, until the President (and a MJ friend) called. If they didn't play the video the next day, then CBS was going to pull ALL of their rights to show any VBS video.
They showed it the next day, and it made history.

Re: King Of POP Dies...
out of topic:
hemm... so business in US is not customers driven after all in high level. It reminds me when US Gov. wanted to forbid the foreign workers and all big computer companies (what I remember they were Intel, IBM and MS) were fighting against it, and threten to move the companies outside of US (talking about $$$$$$$ taxes gone). AFAIK, they have compromised

That doesn't make MJ better than Farah. She was one of the prettiest and best actresses of her time and MJ wasn't pretty at all . I'm not comparing these 2 icons, bot are a lost to society. Full stop.

Re: King Of POP Dies...
Well, when he was in the Jackson 5, he was known for his looks (which is why they say he had surgery to stay young forever)
Everyone had Farrah's poster when I was a teenager, and watched her be an Angel, but that was in between the times MJ was a star.
