    Question about VC++ Programming

    Hi to all. This is Girish. Just recently i started learning Visual C++. I have some Visual C++ 6.0 books. I have Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite evaluation edition. Can i practice, the programs of VC++ 6.0 in Visual Studio 2008 TS. Or i have to install and use any of Visual Studio 6.0 edition only? Please let me know.

    Thanks all.

    Re: Question about VC++ Programming

    There will some confusion regarding menus, dialogs and similar stuff but I guess that's not impossible to cope with. Since VC6 really is outdated an better approach than installing it would be to get some newer books.
    Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
    Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by
    definition, not smart enough to debug it.
