Urgent : Self-extracting binaries

Hi,

Does anyone know how to create a file which can programmatically attach/detatch itself to a binary? I want to create an exe which includes the other files within itself which it can detatch from itself(like a self extracting archive but without compression).

Does anyone have any pointers about how to do this?
