Mouse messages not accepted

Hi,
I have made an application in which i added a CRichEditCtrl variable named m_rich, in my view class(derived from CView).
Also, In the function OnCreate , i wrote as:
m_rich.Create(ES_AUTOVSCROLL | ES_MULTILINE | ES_WANTRETURN | WS_CHILD | WS_VISIBLE | WS_VSCROLL , rect, this, 1);
Now, on the mouse messages functions as OnMouseMove etc. , the compiler does not execute the code in them.
However, the same code in OnKeyDown function runs well.
Why is this discrepency with Mouse messages?
