I have a program which runs as a service and maintains an icon in the system tray (similar to a scheduled task in Win98). You can click on that icon to get properties for the program, and it will respond by bringing up its dialog box. However, if you press Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the "Close Program" dialog box in Win98, it shows the program as not responding (msgpage [not responding]). Why is this so?
