Which technology is better for multimedia database?
I'm working on a project to display a series of image and sound, if possible. The images are in JPG format while I've not decided the sound format, maybe .wav.
I wonder which database technology can suit my need. DAO seems to be easier to use but I don't know whether it's capable to do so. While ADO+OLE DB is claimed to be more advanced, however, I'm puzzled with all the stuff with it. It's quite complicate and I'm afraid it's too difficult to handle. Anyway, I'm not quite sure about the format of OLE DB. I've experience with those relational DB, like Foxpro, Access only. So, I would like to know how OLE DB is as well.
Thank you!
