    Upgrading

    I just bought visual basic 6pro and i already have vb5 enterprise installed. is it safe to load both on the same machine? and will i be able to continue working on my vb5 app which uses a database in vb6?

    I asked about the same question a few days ago, the answer I got was that installing vb and vb on the same machine just isn't very safe to do. It might just screw up windows and result in a total reinstall of your machine. So don't.

    The other thing you asked about being able to work on that vb5 program in vb6 shouldn't give any problems. The other way around will cause problems, but vb6 is downward compatible with vb5.
