Sorting

Is there any algorithm or code available to sort a CSV file based on a column.

There are programs available to do this. I'm not sure whether their source code is available or not. Check out CommaWords at http://jansfreeware.com/jfdatabase.htm.

The site is related to database related applications. Also it is an EXE which is provided for the same. I am looking for an algorithm which I can include in the code I for the project I am working.
