Avoid Dropdown in text box

Hi,

some text boxes, we see a drop down list will be shown when we start typing in them,

Ex. While typing e-mail coount name in text box a drop down list will be shown..

Any one know how to avoid this drop down..
(i'm not using any cookies to store this values...)

ex

<a href="" target=_top> some text </a>
