Printer

Hello gurus,
The printout taken from a DOT Matrix printer is usually slower, but when it comes to DOS based something like dBASE, the printing is very very faster than the same output taken out from a Windows Based softwares.

Why it so?
What can I make it so that the printing is faster even in Windows operating systems.

Any help is greately appreciated.

try:
Printer.PrintQuality = vbPRPQDraft
before sending the print command
