Bing! Yep, he was the one who invented an electrode device for testing regions of brains on monkeys to find out their function and then invented the sensory deprivation tank. He was also one of the first researchers on dolphin communication and language. The films Altered States and The Day of the Dolphins are (very loosely) based upon him. He did a lot of ketamine in his days with the tank and had some very weird trips, too... He's got some quite interesting books on metaprogramming oneself as well.Quote:
