could .NET be installed on '98

can i install .NET on windows 98? what kinda problems I would encounter? Inputs are greatly appreciated.Thnx.

I installed the .NET Framework on a Win98 machine and didn't had any problem with it.

If you also want to connect to a database, you must also install MDAC2.7
