Does anyone know what language, control components IBM used in the production of the Aloha POS? What is a good tool to use to develop custom command buttons in Visual Basic, a control that has 3d, image alignment and text alignment properties. Thanks,

Aloha probably uses some variant of RPG, IBM's langauge for the mainframe that was ported there. But I'm not positive.
As far as the custom control question, you should be able to layer in VB.Net and throw an image in there to give the desired effect, after putting text in there, etc. Is that what you mean?
