DTPicker

Hi folks,

What is the best way to assign the value in a DTPicker to a variable? Right now I have the following:

Dim Date1 As Date

Date1 = DTPicker1.Day & "/" & DTPicker1.Month _
& "/"& DTPicker1.Year

which works but is not very efficient. Is there any way to assign the entire value of the DTPicker to the variable?
