new to the subject

Hi all,

I was asked to develop software where users should be able to send SMS in which they ask for the ringing ID, and system should be able to send the rining tone back to them.
I am very new to this. can any body give me a clue like what are the parameters that I need to store?
What is the format of the rinding tone how can I keep it in the database

Your problem isnt that bit tricky ... but the way u asked isnt that much clear........ they asked you for doing one ... no problem do it..... Now the question is How ? my question is also that? How u want to develop it? by which language ? java ,C++, C# .NET, vb .NET Series 60 , what?
if u want to do it in java i can help u out but if it is other language i just able to give u the idea ... how thing can be solve but not the whole.. explain brief
