Iam just new to this java world. I want to know the details about the persons who visited my web page(free).
Is it possible to update a text file or any file in free ftp site or http site thru Java Programming if permission is granted?

hai,
you can accomplish this by using an applet. u can have the counter code in the init method of the applet and u can update the file in your web server using the applet. note that u should have the counter code in the init method.
