How do i use the /javacode statements in this message forum?

I see that I have "Markup" enabled for my posts, but how do I use them? I tried it using

javacode...then my code...then /javacode..

what did I do wrong? Thanks.

it should be "["javacode"]" and "["/javacode"]" ( without the quotes ). You are missing brackets.
