Age of marriage for techies

Just b'cos I am facing a lot of pressure from family (infact, I myself want to) get married, just curious that what age do IT ppl get married?

I am 28 and not married

I'm 27 and also not yet maried.

I'm 19 and I'm not married :D :D

I guess 30 is a good age? Till then spend all your money on birds and booze!

Most of my friends are on their second marriages. Seems that girls marry once for love, then when it doesn't work out, once for money. I think I'd be paying for about 4 wives by now, had I gotten married when I was thinking about it, when I was in my 20's. Luckily, I haven't produced any dependents, so that has 'protected' me from marriage/divorce. :)

I'm ~25 and not married yet, but plannig to do so soon (i'm engaged since... err.. quite long time ago). Anyway, does profession really matter? (sometimes it does, but I mean in this case)

I am not married too, but I guess you should not marry in a specified age, just when you have found the right one and you are sure it is time to marry.

At your age, is very good you're not married. :D But I agree there shouldn't be a specific age for getting married. Just follow your heart.

I got married at 29. My wife was 23 at the time. Now I'm almost 31 and she's turning 21 this year. :D

Good advise. But I have a question for all of you (who wants to answer)... when you say "ready" is that emotionally or financially? Or both? Or is it other kind of "readiness" (please state which).

I think that chmanish is referring to the common misconception that those in the IT field don't have a "life".. since they spend a lot time in front of their computers. :D ;) But ofcourse, that's what most people think. And there are some who really don't go out much.
