Float Point E-04 problem

hii guys,
thanks for all the help in My first ever VB based application for a company.
the project was for the interface between microcontroller and PC , it was not possible without great help from all the codegurus .

F-E Function availability in Visual Basic
But still some enhanced features are needed . like the floating point number which i receive is in the format 1.234E-04 , and same is shown on textbox,
is there any ready function to convert it into 0.0001234 .
This is Referrred as F-E in Scientific Calculators,

Secondly why cant we use same MSCOMM object for 2 different Child Forms.

okay guys solved the problem partially
use FormatNumber function to get the 1.234E-04 to 0.0001234
but still where can i get the function which does the function of F-E as in scientific calculator.

You need to check for E- or E+, and use the right number of #'s
