I would like to Email a specified email address at a certain interval in my program. I would prefer NOT using an smtp as i have had NO luck with them. If their is any way or control that can do this i am not aware of it. PLEASE help [EDIT] I do not want to use outlook because some peolpe dont have outlook configured and i want it to send the email without bringing anything up.

Well, if you post a valid use of one (which I don't agree with, unless you are an employer) then we may be able to help. If we helped, then anyone else would be able to use code for bad purposes.
The use for the program is as follows; I feel that someone is using my computer when i am at work and school. the program captures screen shots every minute and logs keystrokes, the windows they where typed in and right and left mouse clicks. It has the option to add to registry. I need to add email capabilities so i can monitor what is happening when im not at the computer. I feel this is valid and understandable use for the simple fact that i spent $1400 on the computer and i have the right to control who is accessing my computer and what they are using it for. I also feel with emailing capabilities i will be able to see if and who is using my computer and what they are using it for. I would GREATLY appretiate if someone could help me on this matter as it is not for ANY way being used for misuse or harm.

Your ISP may block messages that don't contain the actual username in the from address. I found this out the hard way. Try sending something from yourself, TO yourself, to test if they are filtering port 25, as was the case with me.
Thats what i have been trying and it still dosnt go through. Plus gmail uses port 465... I have been trying for atleast a week to get this working. I was thinking maybe use API to login and send and in the form have a text for username , pass, and a login button or somthing.
Post some code, and an error message. That code worked fine for me.

The code i was told to use in VB is;
WebBrowser1.navigate "http://www.freewebtown.com/mrnotorious/email.php?to=" & Text1.Text & "subject=" & Text2.Text & "from=" & Text3.Text
I added MSINETCONTROLS so webbrowser1 isnt a problem. Other then that i dont know where to start. Any help on this?
I was going to look at the page using Firefox and its DOM Inspector, but I can't seem to even get to the page. Might be a permissions issue.
Maybe they don't want programs sending email?
