CString

I am developing a class using CString as the main class in my class. I am facing a peculiar problem. When I add two CStrings(for example CString x,y and

I type x += y or x = x+y; It is not adding CString y to x.But if I say x = y + x, the thing works. Is there anyone who can help on this.

Might be easier if you actually showed 5 or 6 lines of code that actually display this

problem.

If you have anykind of backslash \ then those adding features don't work. If there is a \ then make it a \\ and it should work.

I also got the same 'problem'. I guess it maybe a bug in VC 5.0, thats what I use and you are too probably.


It will be interesting to know why a =+ b isn't work exactly the same way as a = a + b.
