BitBlt (im new to this :) )

hi. when i use bitblt inside WM_PAINT msg, it doesnt paint in the whole area of the DC. and this causes to even take the image through the parent window... im drawing onto a static ctrl.

how can i fix that area, to draw the parent window (transparent).

It's hard to tell without looking at your code.

Maybe the handle of the window is not correct.
Maybe BeginPaint() EndPaint() are not called.
Maybe the display context is not correct.
Maybe the arguments of BitBlt() is not correct.

Have you already successfully used BitBlt() to paint in the client area of your window without transparency?

Debug your code.

Seriously, how can anyone know what you're doing without seeing your code, what you've attempted, what the values of the call to BitBlt are, etc.?
