Uniquely Identifying a PC
Hi.
I was looking into adding a liscencing component to my software (windows software).
Does anyone know any way to uniquely identify a machine so that liscencing info can't simply be copied from one PC to another.
I'm sorry that the question's a little open ended, any sugestions are welcome.

I've seen a few licensing systems use the MAC address of the ethernet adaptor. A quick search brought up this article on getting MAC addresses (Windows-specific).

Linux machines are able to change their MAC addresses, incidentally.
